I get asked ALL THE TIME about safe exercises to perform during pregnancy. Many women who were active pre-pregnancy are unsure what exercises they should or shouldn’t be doing.
Sometimes during pregnancy you really don’t feel like exercising, but just doing a little every day can make all the difference. Your pelvis needs a little extra care during pregnancy so be sure to look after it! Doing a little gentle exercise every day will help to prevent pelvic girdle pain and other painful pregnancy complaints.
I have compiled a sheet of 3 very easy safe exercises to keep your pelvis stable and aligned during this time. Whilst I would encourage all pregnant women to stay active during pregnancy and perform these exercises; there really is no substitute for getting a professional assessment and treatment if you are suffering during your pregnancy. We are highly trained and very experienced at looking after mums-to-be, so you know you are in safe hands.
This is your downloadable pregnancy exercise sheet. Please exercise safely and responsibly when pregnant. Where possible please support yourself using a chair or wall.
If you feel severe pain with any of the exercises please stop and consult your chiropractor.
